Primary Care Posts by Charity Evans, 2004 - 2005
Tuesday, June 15, 2004
The return trip from England was relatively uneventful, but the summer is proving to be anything but. Since returning, I have spent much of my time documenting and summarizing my visit, and how I believe we can implement similar concepts into our system.
I have had several opportunities to share my experiences with a variety of organizations, including the Cypress Health Region, Health Quality Council, and College of Pharmacy (University of Saskatchewan). Everyone is excited about the potential and opportunities that we have for the further development of primary care in Saskatchewan, and the role that pharmacy can play.
I regularly keep in contact with the NPDT team members from England, and have quickly realized what a valuable resource they continue to be. I'm already looking forward to a return visit!
